Spotswood Custom Computers Introduces its New Series of Round, Wood, PC Cases
Nashua, NH, September 18, 2006 – Spotswood Custom Computers, Inc. introduced its industry‑defining “L” series of round, wood, PC enclosures today. The round shape, natural wood body and chrome and stainless steel hardware, ushers in a new era of style, sophistication and personalization in PC cases.
In addition to their unique appearance, a variety of personalization options are available. Spotswood Custom Computers’ new line of custom cases offers a refreshing new style for the enthusiast, gamer, home theater and do‑it‑yourself PC user.
Equivalent to a conventional, mini-tower size rectangular
case, the L-18 model is slightly less than 18 inches in diameter. It has enough room to house an ATX form
factor motherboard, power supply, three internal 3.5” hard drives and one external
slim/notebook CD/DVD drive. A 3.5” I/O
panel on the front of the case contains four USB 2.0 ports, one FireWire port,
one headphone and one microphone connection.
Both side panels are removable, offering easy access to the
inside of the case. A clear, .25” thick acrylic
motherboard tray is attached to the right-hand side panel.
Each individually crafted case is cooled by two rear, 92mm exhaust fans and one side, 140mm intake LED fan.
Options include five different wood stain colors (natural, light oak, dark oak, candy apple red and golden yellow), chrome or black‑chrome hardware, clear or black plastic side panels, and a clear, black, or chrome side panel mounted LED fan.
